Well yesterday we tested out the Swaddlebee Pockets. For this type of diaper you have a nice soft padded inside and then a pocket to insert more padding to make it thicker and more absorbent. We tried the Swaddlebee's Hemp insert which slides right in- and then I also put a raw silk liner in the diaper closest to Addisons skin.
So it went Cloth Diaper- insert additional padding (hemp insert) and then lay the ultra thin raw silk liner in last against skin.
This worked AMAZINGLY at keeping Addison dry and no leaks. In addition, she pooped and it was easy to just take the silk liner out (so no stains in the diaper) and soak just THAT in hot soapy water before washing later.
The larges are actually TOO big on her............they fit but the butt is really bulky so I think I need to go back and order more mediums for now until she is bigger.
